Originally from the big state of Texas, Lorraine Reeves spent time in LA,
then decided to settle in Birmingham with her husband. Having worked all
facets of production -- from food, to florists, even movie sets and film studios
-- Lorraine eventually landed at WorkPlay as our Events Administrator. With
her unique, big city skills and ability to “just get it done”, you can be assured that your event, large or small, will go off without a hitch.
Emily Redmon came on board the WorkPlay team as our Events
Coordinator. As a child, theater and ballet inspired her love for production. When she got older she put that love, talent and spare time to good use, volunteering in the non-profit world for local Birmingham events such as City Stages, Corks and Chefs and Taste of the Nation. Emily’s organizational skills, sense of fun and creativity and plain old love of people will make your event
the talk of the town.
WorkPlay Bar manager, Clay Stembridge, is a Birmingham native, with
more than a decade of Magic City experience in the food, drink and party business. With an uncanny ability to create customized drinks and menus to
suit your special event and a motto that goes something like "Always happy
to help!” Clay is WorkPlay’s man to handle the liquid flow of your event.
Davy Moire, Brooklyn born and raised, has been with WorkPlay from the
very beginning as our ace Production Manager for the nationally acclaimed WorkPlay Theatre. A professional sound engineer for over 30 years, he has worked with the likes of Frank Zappa, Kansas, Duran Duran, Prince, The Cranberries, Live, The Temptations and The Four Tops, just to name a few. Whether you need a simple screen and projector, a DJ, or a full concert
sound and light production, Davy’s extensive knowledge of audio and video
will make your event the spectacle you imagine.
